With the addition of two large hoop houses, Whitehall Farm Gardens can control plant production from start-to-finish. By cutting heavy chemicals and fertilizers, as well as using biodegradable pots and peat-free soil, we are taking a sustainable approach to our expansion.
Your plants deserve the best, which is why we grow everything in Organic Mechanics soil. From Alfalfa Meal and Kelp Meal, Worm Castings (yum!) to Pine Bark, your plants will absolutely love where they grow!
Did you know plants love rainwater best? With its added organic matter, plenty of nitrates, slight acidity and softness, rainwater is the preferred water source for plants. We collect 10,000 gallons of rainwater onsite to nourish our plants.
Many active ingredients used in common insecticides and fungicides are toxic carcinogens. Throughout the growing process, we are committed to using organic and low-toxicity pesticides. We are pollinator friendly and will always say NO to Neonicotinoids.
It’s time to say goodbye to black plastic plant pots once and for all! The plant material grown at Whitehall Farm Gardens comes in our signature pots made of rice hull fibers. We encourage you to reuse them, return them to us, or simply toss them in your compost pile!
